Fried Rice

FRIED RICE

I LOVED this recipe!  Best fried rice ever! I loved how the sesame oil added to the flavor of everything.  Feel free to add different various vegetables or meat like peas, ham, corn and such.

1 Tbl Water
3 Eggs
1 Tbl Butter
2-3 Tbl oil
1 Medium Onion
3 Garlic Cloves Coarsely Chopped (or garlic to taste)
3 Cups cold cooked white rice
4 Tbl Soy Sauce
1 tsp Sesame Oil (optional)
1/2 tsp Fresh Ground Black Pepper
2 Green Onions finely chopped (optional)

In a small bowl, beat the eggs with the water.

Melt the butter in a skillet or Wok on medium heat or until sizzling

Add eggs and leave flat for around 2 minutes or until cooked through.  Transfer to plate and chop

Add oil to same skillet and saute onions until soft (around 3-4 minutes, adding garlic last 2 minutes of cooking time)

Add in cold rice, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper; stir-fry tossing continuously for about 5 minutes. (adding more soy or black pepper to taste)

Stir in egg and green onion
